Good Week
We have had a few very weird, very wonderful days. As the rest of the United States was suffering from cold, wet weather, we here in San Diego had warm, sunny weather. We spent some time at the San Diego Zoo over the weekend. One of the antelopes was giving birth while we were there. That was both interesting and gross at the same time.
Some more good news on the home front. Chris got the job at Qualcomm. YAY!! So now we have to move on... literally. We now have to seriously go in search for some place to live. Wish us luck! Chris and I went to Outback Steakhouse Monday night to celebrate his new job offer and, as we were waiting for our table, I reached into the pocket of my jacket—one I have not worn in lord knows how long—and was pleasantly surprised when I pulled out $40. Seems like my luck is turning around.
I spent my Valentine's day at my sister-in-law's house. She and her husband were generous enough to have me over so I wouldn't be alone. I have actually been spending all of my Tuesday nights at her house, which is enjoyable, and gets me out of the house. Chris heads up to Lake Forest for his karate class every Tuesday night. He is working towards his second-degree black belt with the karate instructor under whose tutalage he got his first-degree black belt.
I hope everyone is having as good a week as I am!
